A platform for the future

In future, even more effort will be required to attract skilled workers onto the Saxon labour market and battle it out with other regions that offer competitive, fair, secure, well-paid jobs.

In establishing the Saxon skilled labour alliance, the state has created a Saxony-wide platform to ensure there are enough skilled workers in future. Alongside representatives from Saxon industry and the trade associations, the alliance comprises the Saxon chambers of industry and commerce, the Saxon trade chambers and unions, the central local government organisations, the Federal Employment Agency and the Saxon state government. It offers recommendations on how to improve Saxony’s skilled labour potential, and initiates concrete measures for securing a sufficient supply of skilled workers in the state.
